Only recently has the use of simple pleasures and liquid fabric softener firsst time, so I use the dryer sheets in the dryer or not?

Usually not, but it seems to be a problem with static on clothes after the dryer, then you should. Personally I use both. I can only say that I do not use the liquid fabric softener. I think the liquid on the sheet smooth and brings a wonderful freshness and reduces static.

You do not have a "need" to use one of them. It is not necessary to use both.
Note that these are petroleum products. Both hold for environmental reasons (for many reasons here) and the absorption capacity (ie, towels, sportswear, clothing, diapers, etc.) and fire retardants or tissue (eg children PJ) or special devices, as well as in other styles repellent or SPF, it may be advantageous to avoid using these products at all.

In many ways, these products and feel that we should "use is simply the result of indoctrination by the advertising industry and our consumer society, at any price.

If you feel "should" use them all, please do so sparingly and carefully examine every application, every time.
